Birdsong
That is the name of my next start from the book "In the Meadow" by Blackbird Designs. I am not completely unpacked but I just really need to get back to sewing and this project is perfect. I had all the fabrics pulled together in one box and the pieces are large and simple to sew, perfect while our house stress continues. Looks like the deal for the sale of our house may fall through, through no fault of ours, so we may be back to the beginning. Thank goodness for the calming effects of hand stitching.

We just finished the whole selling the house and moving somewhere else process. It was incredibly stressful, and sewing something always gave relief. I hope you get a another offer and a quick sale, if this one falls through. I love your bird, especially the fabric you used for the body.

Birdsong is a great titile because seeing that block makes my heart sing, it's so beautiful!!! I'm sure your house will find another buyer in no time.

I just love the fabric you used on your bird. I don't know if I would have thought to use it.
