Finally a border
If you have been following my blog for a while you might remember that most of my quilts stall when I get to adding the border. I am thrilled to finally have a border on this one and was even more excited to use a bunch of half square triangle that I had made from scraps from a previous fabric. At first I thought I would add another appliqué border but since I want to hang it over my bed, size dictates that I am done. Besides I really want to start a different hexie project and will only reward myself with a new start when I get a few UFOs finished. I really need se quality quilting time!

It's beautiful, Heather! Now do you want to finish putting mine together?
That border really fits the design of the quilt--makes an elegant feel to the whole quilt. The border fabric really ties in with the fabric used in the top. Beautiful!!
It is beautiful. I love that he border seems to fit the style of the quilt so well.
It's gorgeous Heather. The border is perfect. Is the middle part appliqued or is it a fabric panel? The whole quilt is amazing! Well done.
