EPP trial block

I so loved working with hexies that I thought I would try English paper piecing a block that I saw on the blog Lily's Quilts. She called this block Georgetown Circle and while I love the block, I am not sure about my fabric choices. I was planning to make this into a pillow but am going to make another block before I decide. I do like the appliqués butterfly in the center though and maybe the right background will set it off!
