LE surround Part 3 finished

I have finished the appliqué for part 3 of LE. I am finally feeling pretty confident about my colors here and am really excited for Part 4.

I am finding that I am usually finished with each part in 2 weeks or less and am trying to fill in my "down" time with other UFO hand work. Since beginning LE I have finished 3 more of the bird blogs for my Birdsong quilt.

And I have also done a few more hexagons from Sue Daley's This Goes With That BOM.

But I am starting to run out of prepared handwork and am wondering what else I might work on during the LE journey. Hmm maybe it is time to get another hand quilting project ready!

Wow! It all looks gorgeous! I'm envious of all you've gotten done recently. And your colors make me drool!

Brandie is right--it all looks gorgeous! Your LE is impressive (so difficult), and going to be incredible finished. I do adore your birds--each one lovely in its own way. How about if I just mail you some of my UFO's, since you are out of handwork and are so quick? :)

I need a break from the applique now and then and always have hand piecing projects going as well. Right now I am less than half way done with part 3 - I guess I better keep plugging away at it so I won't be way behind!

Love your color scheme in your LE quilt top. Glad you are happy with it--seems this quilt tells us what to do!! I am glad it was in black and white, as it is making people adventureous. Nice bird blocks---lots of very rich fabrics.

The colours of your LE are perfectly balanced and harmonious. Love it. And it seems you've been very busy again. So many lovely blocks.

Your LE is looking wonderful. As I haven't started mine yet I'm going to wait to see the picture of the original. Can you tell me what the fabric is behind your first 'bird' it looks lovely and I like different backgrounds to just plain fabric.
