Back to Stitching

Well I'm back to stitching on the hexagon quilt.  As you can see the hexagons are complete and they are pinned to the medallion center ready to be appliqued down.

And the applique on my Pickled Lilies quilt is about half done too.  Later today I will be doing more foundation piecing on the charity quilt that my guild is making so that should get me all set to tackle piecing the border for this one.  The Christmas decorating is almost complete and while I'd like to be working on these projects I think its time to start thinking about gifts to make!

I love your hexagon quilt. I think that is similar to one from a magazine that I posted on my blog. I am still making the hexagons for it, and yours is great inspiration. Love it!

Your Hexagon Quilt looks great. A Medaillon in a Hexagon Quilt is new for me. Good Idea.

Awaiting for your finish ;-) ...

Your Pickled Ladies is amazing! And Aunt Sarah looks so nice. I put mine on the back burner for awhile. Have to work on all those holiday projects, you know!

Oh my gosh, I LOVE your Pickled Lilies quilt! I always like applique and piecing combined, but the colors you have chosen for this quilt are gorgeous!

I just love both of these projects! The hegagons are so pretty around the medalion center. The applique looks great with the pickle dish blocks.
