Oh dear, I promised myself no new starts but since I signed up for this several months ago I don't think I'm cheating. This is a BOM by Sue Daley offered at my LQS called "This goes with that". It is much like "Candied Hexagons" which I have loved ever since I first saw it in blog land. Each month we get papers for the Enlish Paper Piecing, the acrylic templates for cutting and patterns for a few blocks. This goes for 8 months and I found lots of extra patterns for the hexagons on Sue Daley's blog. My LQS is also including a few other notions and some small cuts of repro fabric that can be used but I have decided to go in a different direction and I an loving it. The fussy cutting really makes this fun. I do love hexagons and EPP.

I got myself the patterns and templates as well for this quilt. Just need to finish a few of my UFOs first!I'm not doing it as a BOM. By the way; my good friend Kerry Dear is the clever designer of Candied Hexagons. She gave me the pattern, but I haven't made that one either yet.
enjoy your hand piecing! I sure like doing mine : )
Oh wow....I love what you are doing!
I love those colours youve chosen!!! You'll have fun making your hexagons. Make sure you show us lots of progress photos.
what fun little blocks.
What a great group of fun things to get as a BOM! Look forward to watching all the variations of the blocks!
What fun shapes, and pretty fabrics.
That would be hard to resist. It's so pretty. I know you're going to have lots of fun with it.

Such pretty hexies. No wonder you could not resist.
Love your fussy cutting! Are you using all blue fabrics for the quilt?
