Slow progress

That pretty much applies to this quilt and my knee after surgery. Every time I think things feel good and I start sewing I suffer a bit of a set back. Today I cut and made two blocks and clearly that was a bit too much time on my feet as I am in some pain now. Oh well, back to more handwork for me cause I really want to get back to cooking tonight. I love my DH but his food preparation skills are dreadful!

Your new project looks lovely but you must take it easy. I only just read your previous post where you wrote that you closed on your old house. Congratulations, that must be a big relieve. Look after yourself and keep that weight off your feet for a little while longer.

Slow progress is at least progress. Take care of your health/knee.

I like your blocks but take care of yourself and don't overdo!

The blocks look fabulous! But rest that leg....enjoy the hand work guilt free!

I like those blocks. Yes, take it slow on your knee.

Well the blocks look wonderful, take it easy on that knee, but it is really important to get your sewing legs back under you-LOL. Maybe you could convince the physical therapy people that sewing is a form of PT and you can skip theirs.

Take it easy! If dh can't make food, have him make reservations, or call for some take-out. Hope you're much better soon.

Be easy with yourself while you are healing. It will be better and faster in the long run. Your red and green quilt is lovely!
