Another flower block

Despite the delightful distraction mentioned in the previous post I am getting a little appliqué done. This is another block from the BOM by Esther Aliu. Each month 2 different flowered are offered so I decided to make 2 quilts so I could do both blocks. This is block 1 of the second quilt. It still needs some embroidery but with a full house, I was lucky to get this done but I'm certainly not complaining. :)

Wow! You are really getting these done fast. I always find that the prep work takes longer than the stitching. Another beautiful block.

Oh my goodness, what a beautiful block!! I love the movement in the flowers as though there's a breeze and those petals are so life like!

The fabric for the center of the sunflower is fantastic--looks like seeds are growing on the flower. The yellows are glowing!!

Your sunflowers are stunning and what a perfect fabric choice for the centers. I know how hard it is to get the shading right on all the petals and you nailed them.
