First up, some exciting news. Last Friday we sold our house. If you have been reading my blog for awhile you might remember that last year at this time I was showing photos of the decor of the house I had just moved into. Yep, just a year later and I look to be moving again. However, I am not quite ready to celebrate as these things do not always work out as planned. This is the second time this house sold but the first time the people buying had to back out do to the loss of the buyer for their home. So, I am praying and hoping that this time works out. So difficult to know how to move forward when you live in fear that the deal may fall through.
In any case, it is time to start getting rid of stuff again, calling movers for estimates and hopefully start house hunting. I really, really want this to be the last move for many years so we will downsize and simplify, or at least that is the plan.
And it also means that it is time to start packing up the studio. I am trying to finish piecing a few things so it is easier to put them away so I have spent much of today putting this top together. Here it is just thrown up on the design wall yesterday and a few things have been moved since then. Not much time for careful balancing of colors and hopefully I can finish it up tomorrow. Another aqua border will be added and then a final border of HSTs.
I am not sure how long I will be absent from blogging as the days ahead look very busy but I will be catching up when I can and hopefully I will be back soon!
Happy stitching!
Hope the move goes smoothly and you are soon settled!

ReplyDeleteHere's hoping things work out this time. I am enjoying your Blog so looking forward to you coming back. We were in Arizona for the winter (4 months on the road) and I was unable to work on many of my projects. I really really missed my Studio. We will not be going on anymore 4 month vacations! We have been doing that for 10 years and now is time to just take the "hop skip and jump" trips. Good luck.
