I am happy to report that I am able to do a little stitching and am able to walk around to house with the aid of a walker. Each day there is a little improvement and already much of the leg pain I have had for several years has declined.
So here is what I see from my chair. You can see I am all set up for a little handwork. Now just to get motivated!
Happy stitching!
So good to hear from you and hear that things went ok. Not a bad view at all -- such pretty applique. Hopeing for a speedy recovery!

Wow, I can't believe you are already home and stitching again. I'm sure it feels good to have the OP behind you; from now on it can only get better. Love your LE, the flowers look lovely. Look after yourself and don't overdo things.

ReplyDeleteHi Heather, glad to hear you are home. I thought about you a lot last Thursday. I agree with the post about the anesthesia--but it will go away & you will be back to normal soon. I like your view from the chair. Take care and happy stitching.
ReplyDeleteGood to have you back--your LE is looking fabulous!
ReplyDeleteIt's wonderful to hear your home and improving every day. The view from your chair doesn't look too bad, a cuppa and a beautiful quilt to sew.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear you are recovering....rest and heal dear friend!
ReplyDeleteSo glad to hear you're doing well. Follow doctor's orders, and I hope you get better each day! Hugs....
ReplyDeleteGreat to hear you are recovering. What a splendid view of your applique from your chair!!
ReplyDeleteGlad you are home and doing well - take it slow.
ReplyDeleteYour quilt is lovely and should help speed your recovery!
So good to hear a report, Heather and so glad it has been successful. Take it easy - you've had major surgery and will need a lot more time than you think. The motivation will come after you've started to mend. Your body is just getting over the shock practiced on it. My, your LE looks so pretty on your lap. Will continue to pray for you.
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty quilt to work on. Having been through back surgery twice, I know it is not a fun recovery period.
